The Society for Art and Science Tohoku Branch will hold a general competition, in which excellent works and assistant technologies for art work creation will be awarded. Details are as follows:

Competition entries should be interactive and non-interactive works and digital technologies in media arts. The competition will be held online this year for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) countermeasures. The works (still images or movies) or their demonstration movies (for explaining works) are acceptable. Some of the possible works and technologies are presented below, while the entries are not just limited to the examples.
Interactive contents and interactive systems: games, media arts, VR/MR contents, robots, interactive installations, physical computing, Web designs, ...
Still images and movie contents created using digital technologies: computer graphics, perspective drawings, design drawings, rendering, movie installations, animations, videos, projection mappings, ...
Digital technologies and tools
that support creation of works and
whose validity is confirmed through viewing:
CG, CAD, CV, VFX, image/movie processing,
communication technologies, sensor technologies,
sound technologies, HI/VR devices, real-world interface,
physical computation, simulation technologies,
visualization technologies, display technologies, ...

※The submitted thumbnails or URLs will be used as the links to the works exhibited in the Art & Technology Tohoku 2022 portal site.
※The thumbnails must be JPG files within 1280 (width) x 720 (height). (The image size might be changed due to some reasons.)
The competition will be held online this year for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) countermeasures. The exhibition will also be held on the Internet. The submitted thumbnails and links are used for presenting all the art works applied for this competition at the Art & Technology Tohoku 2022 portal site.
Submissions will be accepted from July 4 (Mon.) to August 1 (Mon.), 2022.
The deadline for uploading non-interactive works is August 1 (Mon.), 2022.
The committee will have the preliminary if we have a large number of
entries, from September 11 (Sun.) to September 30 (Fri.), 2022.
The entries will be judged from September 1 (Thu.) to September 15 (Thu.).
The prize-winning works will be exhibited from September 1 (Thu.) to
September 30 (Fri.), >>Octorber 15(Fri.), 2022.
The movie of the winner announcement will be released on
September 23 (Fri.), >>September 30(Fri.), 2022.
