The Society for Art and Science Tohoku Branch will hold a general competition, in which excellent works and assistant technologies for art work creation will be awarded. Details are as follows:

Competition entries should be interactive and non-interactive works and digital technologies in media arts. The works or their demonstration videos (explained by short movies) are acceptable. Interactive works and digital technologies are recommended to give presentation or demonstration in the workshop. Some of the possible works and technologies are presented below, while the entries are not just limited to the examples.

Still images and movie contents created using digital technologies: computer graphics, perspective drawings, design drawings, rendering, movie installations, animations, videos, projection mappings, ...

※The thumbnails must be JPG files within 1280 (width) x 720 (height). (The image size might be changed due to some reasons.)
The competition will be held online this year for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) countermeasures. The exhibition will also be held on the Internet. The submitted thumbnails and links are used for presenting all the art works applied for this competition at the Art & Technology Tohoku 2021 portal site.
COVID-19 In consideration of the situation of infection expansion,
we have decided to extend application reception and non-interactive
contents upload deadline. Along with that, the period of contents release etc. will be postponed.
